AFS780 - How can I get it back?

Dear Folks,

I have a BC245XLT and a BC780XLT which I used to program on my old computer using a software Avraam's AFS780.  I have said program still on my old computer, and I still have these two scanners, but I cannot find the software anymore on the internet.
Does anybody know of a link where I still could get this freeware for my newer Windows Vista x64 computer?  Thanks.

Looks to me like the creator sold the program (source code and all) to a "lucky bidder" on EBay a while back. You might try looking at one of the internet archive places to see if they might have archived the software if you can't find it for download anywhere else.

You're probably better off purchasing Scan Control at:

http://www.scannersoft.com

which works with both radios (among many others). AFS780 hasn't been supported in so long, I'd hesitate even trying it on Vista. I'm sure Scan Control does work on Vista...73 Mike
