Audio drops out with PL Code
«

Some how I manged to goof something up with my BCT15X. I had this happen once before and can't remember how I corrected the issue. I am doing all my programming using the latest edition of Freescan on a Windows XP computer.
For some reason on any channel that has a PL code programmed in the audio will be intermittent during the transmission. It will drop out for a second then come back and continue through out the entire time. It doesn't matter if I am scanning or on hold. I thought it was something that I had messed with and maybe it still is. I completely reset the scanner pressing 2,9 and HOLD at the same time and turning on the scanner and it still does it.
The programming is just a conventional system, no trunk tracking or close calls settings turned on other then the priority scan is set. I don't have any quick keys or anything like that either. Also both the "Hold" and "Delay" settings are set at 0.
I'm really looking for some help on this because it's driving me crazy. I have no idea why it would do this or what I did to possibly make this happen.
Thanks

Thats how it normally behaves. Since there is only one receiver, it has to tune to a different frequency to check priority, hence the audio drop out during that time.

I've never had the issue before though that's what I'm not understanding.

You may never have had a channel flagged as priority before.
