Assaf...  Before I describe the problem, just wanted to thank you for a great piece of software in FreeScan... Without it, I would never been able to enjoy the use of my scannner.....  Great work!  And now my question: I continually have a problem with my BCT15X and the FreeScan Recording Log. Taking a look at the attached screen grab of a typical log, you will see empty areas in the recorded files. It's evidently not due to its recorded length, or from specific frequency... trunk or analog as you can see it records from the same source one moment, but not on the reply or original transmission.  There seems to be no logical reason for this intermittent recording. Hope you have some suggestions as to what may be causing this.. Thanks!!!!!!!

Actually they are all getting related. The reason you see gaps there is because of the hangtime feature. When there are multiple replies really close to each other, they all get squeezed into the same recorded file to avoid having 1,000,000 tiny little files. Hence, there is a gap there because no new file is being created. You can turn this feature off in recording options if it really bothers you.

Smiley Thank you for the prompt reply!  It make perfects sense now that the initial recording when now reviewed are multiple calls that are "grouped" (hangtime!)... So then I can assume the "logged" I.D.'s (without recordings) that follow a grouped recording (without accompanying seperate recorded files) is the actual I.D.'s from that group......
