windows XP     freescan 2.08     control scanner -  LCARS interface 

i try to turn on/off system 11   using   . 1  1     and it will not work   

if i go to windows interface - it works fine  ONLY affects LCARS


ALSO when starting ANY control scanner interface the scanner halts scanning and stops on the 1st freq of the 1st system enabled for scanning   you have to hit SCAN to get it to resume     

I'll have to see about the system issue next time i can get to my Pc. For the channel hold, this is a feature. If you have an xt scanner, it forces control channel output mode to off everytime you connect. People will often not know what cco does, turn it on bc it sounds handy and panic when things stop working. To compensate, FS turns it off every time. It causes the scanner to lose its state but is considered the lesser of two evils.

Alternatively, you can disable this behaviour in Options, but if you turn Cco in the future and forget about it, things might go down in flames (not literally though).
