Skins for Virtual Control
«

Sorry if this has been addresssed here in the Forums before but I could not find an answer here or through Google.
1) Are there any skins for FreeSCAN other than the three that come with the download and, if so, where can I find them?
2) Are there any instructions on how to use the iPod interface? (other than "It works like an iPod")
FreeSCAN is a great app. I am currently using the LCARS Control with my BCD396XT and am happy with that but am curious about other skins.
Cheers,
DWS

1) No, you get 3, and that is all you get. It's not like Winamp where you can download more.
2) Left and right on the control is like moving the scroll knob left and right. Play is scan, Pause is Hold. One of the buttons is like pushing in the function knob. You can also right click and get some more options. It's meant more just to be a very compact interface that doesn't take up much space on your desktop than anything really functional. You know, just like a typical Apple product.

Forgot to thank you for the quick reply. Plus thanks for the program. I really only needed it to input one system. I live in Central Newfoundland and had to get the digital scanner just to access one p-25 channel - talk about overkill !
