Hello, all

I enjoy using the virtural scanner with my BCD396XT.  Recently I was doing a P25 search.   On several occasions,  I got hits on two different frequencies with a NAC of "FFF".

I cannot convert HEX FFF to decimal, maybe because "FFF" is not a HEX number?  Or is the NAC box in the Log Page of the Virtual Scanner decimal?   Then "FFF" is surely not decimal..

Doing a quick conversion FFF is 4095 in decimal, so you might be experiencing a technical problem with your calculator. The NAC is recorded in hex. Hope that helps.

I hastily tried to use the spreadsheet formula for the conversion from hex to decimal... I must have misused it,  After your post, I tried again and got 4095.
