For those of you who aren't already familiar with it, the IC website is a great place to hound for frequency information. You can search by frequency, region, callsign and so on.

To search by area for example, go here
https://sd.ic.gc.ca/pls/engdoc_anon/web_search.geographical_input

For frequency range, go here
https://sd.ic.gc.ca/pls/engdoc_anon/web_search.frequency_range_input

You have to come up with the GPS location of your area to search by area, and this is easy enough to do with google maps. I did a huge search for my area and came up with about 397 frequencies. I used EZ Grab to bring them into the program then used the duplicate frequency finder to weed it down to about 177 frequencies.

Fire and EMS frequencies are registerd under the Crown, but poh-leece and military frequencies are absent.
