Deleting Custom Band Plan
«

Hi,
Uniden 396t Freescan 2.5
Is there any way to delete a custom band plan once it is in place with a Mot Custom Rebanded system? some invalid information was posted and some band plans are not needed. They listed 4 band plans but only two were actually needed. I deleted all the frequencies and offsets, wrote it to the scanner but when I look at the scanner they are still there.
Thanks

I believe if you do an Erase on the upload form, not a Replace, that should take care of it. best regards..Mike

I tried this and you should be able to wipe them out just by entering 0 for both high and low freqencies. When you upload, the old settings will be overwritten.

Thanks, I will try again. I deleted them (I thought) and when I looked in the scanner band plan 3 through 5 were still populated. But I may have mess up.
Update: That worked and I know what I did. I deleted the frequencies and offsets from the errant band plans but DID NOT put zeros into the fields. The old plans were still in the scanner after an upload. Once I closed and opened the database the entries now had zeros in them, I uploaded again and the errant plans were gone from the scanner.
