When I tried to remotely run the scanner from the computer screen, I get an error message

Unhandled exception in application
Could not load file or assembly Nauto V=1.3.6.0
culture=neutral'

program will not continue, and closes the programming softwear.

Sounds like you need to reinstall .net.

I thought that wasn't required with win 7. Downloaded the new version and so far no problem.
I use this on my desktop most of the time which is win 7 but I also want to use it on my 10" Dell . So will Freescan work on both or do i need a differant setup for XP?

You can use it on an xp computer but you need .net 2.0 installed on it.
