I have downloaded a few systems from radio reference and uploaded them to this scanner.
I am looking at the display and see something that looks like S0: *****----0
what are the astericks  and what do they do?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

It is showing your system numbers. You can find out more by visiting the world's slowest website.

Thanks for the info.
I just received this scanner and am trying to set it up using your program.
I also have a Home Patrol and am trying to also set that one up.
On the 396xt what do I need to do to use the gps feature?
I have changed most of the counties in Pa. and went into each one and set the range to 0.5.
When I hook the 396xt and it shows gps enabled, will it just change county to county when I enter that county, or do I have to do anything special?
I also have the State poh-leece in a conventional system with no gps coordinates. Will it still receive these freqs?
Thanks for your help.
