Having some issues with the host provider right now, we'll get the new version online soon though once they sort out their server.

And so far so good with 2.04 - I didn't notice any corruption issues. Thanks for getting it done so fast - I needed to reprogram my 396 for my Xmas trip.

By the way, re the warning about unmonitorable trunks - MPT-1327 is like LTR-MultiNet and Passport. It can be scanned conventionally, just not trunktracked (at least not without external software).  So the warning about being 'unscannable' isn't quite correct.

In the next release - whenever - if the message could be tweaked for these 3 system types, that would certainly curtail any confusion.

Fortunately, I had my files stored on my laptop computer also. I then emailed them to myself, saved them on my main computer, then downloaded the latest Freescan version. When I opened the files all was well. Thank God I had them in another location. Of course I could have just read from the scanner into Freescan if need be.

I might change the vervage or something to suggest that it may be possible to monitor them otherwise.. It does say "may be" unscannable right now as to not dash all hopes.

Thats good that you didn't lose anything.

I'd like to make a suggestion for future builds.

Can the COM port setup be moved to a more centralized menu, or if you have your heart set on it being on the Virtual Control page, can you add a link so that it can be accessed more directly (i.e. from both the main window and the virtual control menu)? Some of us have multiple scanners on multiple cables and have to switch COM ports around depending on which scanner we plan to read from/write to, and going into the Virtual Control each time we want to change the port settings just seems cumbersome to me. In the scanner menu click on either upload or download and then on "things you can do"...there's a comport setup there also.

JUST UPDATED TO THE NEW VER .04 AND IT WORKS OK SO FAR, FOUND A GLITCH IN THE VIRTUAL SCANNER , AFTER CLICKING ON MENU, i COULDNT GET IT TO GO INTO THE PROGRAM MODE, IT WOULD GO UP AND DOWN BUT COULD NOT CHOOSE PROGRAM. BACKED OUT AND WENT ON TO MY PROGRAM AND ALL SEEMED OK . tHANKS FOR THE NEW VERSION.

oH I MAY HAVE MISSED THIS SOMEWHERE, BUT DOES A TRUNKED SYSTEM HAVE TO BE THE FIRST SYSTEM , WHEN YOU HAVE A CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM WITH IT? i'M A NEWBE SO PLEASE FORGIVE THE STUPIDITY.... RON
