where is the default directory that FreeScan uses when saving files, or do they go anywhere you want to put them?

You can save them anywhere you wish. As for the exact place where they go by default, it might shift around depending on which version of windows you have, but I would look in My Documents as well as the install directory.

thanks, I thought that they were save into the my documents.
is there any way that you can specify where to look for them?
I have 3 different scanners and they all don't work with freescan as far as I can tell.
The other scanner is a bc895xlt. does FreeScan support this scanner?
