 Lips Sealed

I dont' know what to do!!! Please help....

So I've got two Uniden BCD996 scanners running through freeSCAN, they seem to be set up and working fine, but I'm running into a program with the recording.  I have both the onboard recording input and a USB soundwave card with another recording input.  I keep trying to launch one radio with one device, and the other with another. It either give me a Bad data error, or will launch but not record properly.  Does this makes enough sense for someone to offer guidance?

I greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I think I remember Assaf saying that only ONE recording device is supported by FreeSCAN and I'm SURE he will correct me if my memory is wrong. <g>

Assuming the above, only thing I can think of to suggest is that you try another program running along side FreeSCAN - ID Tracker will do recording also, you might give it a look.

I tried this with 2 scanners and 2 sound cards and ran into a problem where it would only want to record from one sound card even though I told it specifically to use another. I traced it down to the audio driver plugin that I use, for some reason once it locks onto a sound card it stays on it. So this will need some further invetigation but in the mean time you can use a virtual machine or a different computer to work around the problem.
