I had to re-jig my USB controllers, and now my USB-Serial adapter has re-sequenced all of the COM ports. I'm painstakingly resetting the adapter and I have a suggestion for a future version.
When doing the COM port test, since I *know* the baud rate, it'd be a lot more efficient if you tested all the ports at one speed, and then dropped the speed and tested all the ports again. This rather than go through each speed on a port first, and then changing the port.
For example, I know my scanner is set to 115200, but it can be any of 4 ports. I'd rather test the four ports at 115200 first, and then start trying the slower speeds.

Just a tip if you're working in that area of the code. :-)

Brad.
