was using Free scan version 0.9c went to do an upgrade to .9F , but always comes back to 9c  even after a delete. Am I doing something wrong?
Scanners BCD996t, 996xt & 396xt

Might try going to Control Panel and uninstalling first. If you try to delete the program directly from the Program Files directory, Windows will helpfully reinstall it for you. It will also reinstall it for you if you created a previous shortcut to an older version of FreeSCAN. You should launch it by going to Start-Programs-FreeSCAN. When installing a new version, if you have another shortcut to it, you should recreate that shortcut. I didn't design it this way, it's just a .Net thing.

add/delete program list showed 3 listings for freescan, after a delete on all 3 the new version loaded properly.
