It would probably be very helpful for Assaf to know the distribution of scanners that everyone that's using the program has. This could let him concentrate on the special features of THAT scanner if/when he has to optimize the use of his time. Thanks for participating!

In addition to the new BC246T, I have an older BC220XLT handheld that I still use for some conventional scanning.  Back in the day, I had the older Bearcat 220 base/mobile (with the "racing" red LED zero's while it scanned.)  It only had 20 channels, but my goodness I used the crap out of the poor thing for almost 20 years!

I guess now I have to start thinking about getting a digital unit.  They've already got a couple smaller dij networks here, and rumor has it thay may be upgrading with a new Homeland Security grant they just applied for.  So many toys, so little money. Smiley

BC246T, BCT15, PRO-96 digital, PRO-95, PRO-92, 2 of the PRO-83, 2 of the PRO-2052, 2 of the PRO-2053, But I don't think he has any plans for the Radio Shack Scanners..I use ScanControl, Don Starr's and the Arc83 programs for those anyway..Cheers..Keithmj
