The linux topic seems to have died out.  I am trying to run Freescan 0.7 with wine and I get the following message:
"An application has made an attempt to load the c runtime library incorrectly"
Anybody have a answer for this?

I would try uninstall & reinstall. There is a thread here where someone got a similar error, the solution was to upgrade Wine to a newer version.
