Hi, I'm new to understanding this trunking stuff. Have a BCD996T and my question is: in my Ohio Marcs file, how can I tell what specific site/tower I am hearing. The site/tower closest to me is Ashtabula, the next closest is Chardon. If a patrol car from Chardon was hitting my Ashtabula Tower, Would the display say Chardon, or Ashtabula? Sorry if I not too good at explaining it. Likewise, If a car from say Columbus, was in my area for some reason, would the display say Columbus? And would I then be able to hear Columbus radio traffic from that area, while he was here? So confused. I will attach my file so you can see how things are labled if it helps.

Thanks,

ps Assaf, I shoulda been born Blonde, I just retrived my bluetooth headset from the washing machine.... for the third time lol.....

Jack in the off chance no one from Ohio answers here, your next best bet is to post such questions on the Ohio forum at RadioReference. In addition the MONIX and Ohio_MARCS Yahoo groups, I'm sure, discuss such topics constantly, I'm sure.

It just so happens I know Tom WA8PYR is also one of the DB Admins. I have no doubt he, among others, could answer this kind of question
