Running windows 7 with a uniden UBCT 396T scanner 2.10 does not support it 1.06 does.

Is this a mistake or is that scanner no longer supported?

There was never version 1.06 - Maybe you are thinking of the wrong program?

Sounds like there is some kind of an issue with the COM port. I would try to run the auto detect and see if it picks it up.
